2004 Saleen S7

The Saleen S7 takes technology originally developed for the exploration of space and puts it on the road with a combination of the latest in hi-tech materials and advanced engineering. Magnesium, titanium, beryllium, carbon fiber, ceramic coated stainless steel, CNC machined aluminum, and honeycomb composite are just a few of the materials borrowed from aerospace that are used throughout the S7. The race-derived 7 liter, 575 horsepower V8 transfers power to the rear wheels through a new generation, six-speed transmission and is capable of a zero-to-sixty time of less than 3 seconds. With the latest advances in aerodynamic design, the space ago composite exterior offers an uncompromising body shape that performs as well as it appeals. At a top speed of over 200 mph the down force created by the S7 is so great it could literally be driven upside down. With the S7, Saleen set out to create a vehicle mixing performance, luxury and style with functionality. From the plush Connolly leather, to the adjustable pedals and removable steering wheel, driver comfort is a priority of the S7. Such sophisticated features as a real-time video rear display, as well as traditional comforts such as power windows and locks, not to mention, a custom 5 piece luggage set are all standard in the S7.
